Our client is looking for Senior Staff Accountant that will be responsible for AR & AP, Balance sheet account reconciliations, Journal entry preparations, assisting with audit preparations, ad hoc reporting and other accounting duties as assigned by management.
- Maintain and monitor Accounts Payable and Receivable, day-to-day transactions. Assist with managing cash balances by analyzing current cash position, Bank reconciliations, daily cash reporting, and Accounts receivable, assist with payment applications and processing of Journal entries.
- Prepare required information and support tax preparation inquiries from external CPA firm.
- Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations. General Ledger account analysis, and P&L impact analysis.
- Expense report analysis and management of T&E including processing of T&E voucher at month end. Maintain SOP's
- Perform research and provide information as requested, review financial statements, and assist with month end closing tasks and audits.
- Be the SME for WMS accounting processes and work with other departments and functional areas within the company.
- Assist the Finance department, IT and other teams with research during month end and responding to questions that pertain to close and monthly reports.
- Other ad hoc responsibilities as assigned by the Controller.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the accounting field
- GL reconciliations, month end close and P&L analysis
- Balance sheet account reconciliations, Journal entry and audit preparations experience
