Job Description

Summary:

International Payroll Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for our international workforce outside of the United States. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with a deep understanding of International payroll regulations, laws, and processes. You will lead a team of payroll specialists and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain compliance and efficiency in payroll operations.



Responsibilities

*Payroll Leadership:

Lead and manage a team of payroll specialists responsible for processing international payroll for multiple countries.

Develop and maintain payroll policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Stay updated on international payroll regulations and tax laws to ensure legal compliance.

*Process Oversight:

Oversee end-to-end payroll processing, including data input, calculation, and distribution of paychecks.

Verify the accuracy of payroll transactions and deductions for various countries.

Ensure payroll timelines are met and coordinate with all international teams to gather necessary data.

*Compliance and Reporting:

Ensure compliance with all international payroll regulations.

Prepare and submit payroll-related reports, tax filings, and compliance documents as required.

Collaborate with finance and accounting teams for accurate financial reporting.

*Vendor Management:

Manage relationships with payroll service providers and vendors in Spanish and/or Portuguese-speaking regions.

Ensure vendor compliance with service-level agreements and contract terms.

Collaborate with vendors to resolve issues and improve service delivery.

*Relationship Building:

Foster strong relationships with Country Managers to understand local payroll requirements and address specific needs.

Collaborate with Finance teams in different regions to reconcile payroll data and ensure accurate financial reporting.

Act as a liaison between various departments to streamline communication and resolve payroll-related issues efficiently.

*Technology and System Management:

Collaborate with IT to implement and maintain an efficient payroll system.

Troubleshoot and resolve payroll system issues and improve automation where possible.

Implement best practices for data security and confidentiality.

*Employee Support:

Address employee inquiries and concerns related to payroll, deductions, and tax matters.

Provide guidance and support during payroll audits and investigations.

Required Skills & Experience

Must-Have Skills:

*Bachelor's Degree in related field of study or H.S. Diploma/GED and equivalent work experience;

*5+ years experience with processing end-to-end payroll in a job-costing environment as well as some experience with processing payroll in international markets

*Bilingual English/Spanish required.

*Demonstrated knowledge and intermediate proficiency working with Microsoft Office Suite software including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Outlook.
