A small luxury cruise line headquartered in Miami is looking for an ITIL-focused Fleet Technology Operations Manager. This person will serve as a corporate point of contact for all planning and escalated ship technology needs. The Fleet Technology Operations Manager will plan and follow a basic ITIL framework to provide day-to-day support. Guest satisfaction, increased revenue, and cyber security will guide the planning of technology operations improvements. The role will report to the corporate Technology Director and be the main point of contact for the Information Technology Officers and Technical Communications Officers onboard.
Their day to day responsibilities also include supporting worldwide fleet of ships that are in operation 24/7, planning and managing the schedule of the IT Superintendents, Shipboard IT Officers and Telecommunication Officers and plan and manage a diverse portfolio of technology and computer systems, including Hospitality systems Entertainment, Business and OT systems such as Oracle Fidelio. They will also oversee daily stand-up meetings, communicate status, update dashboards and keep team and leadership in the know of daily operations and troubleshoot immediate urgent technical issues in our 24/7 operation. Currently the position has no direct reports but in the next six months they may absorb one or two.

-3+ years of experience working on ships or supporting ship crew and shipboard Technology systems.
-3+ years of experience operating, managing, and troubleshooting the following software: Windows 10 Pro, Windows Server 2016/2019, VMware, Oracle Hospitality products, AMOS, HYCU, Adonis, Nutanix.
-Able to create Virtual Servers through hypervisor software.
-2+ years of experience with Oracle Cruise Ship Hospitality Systems. (Fidelio SPMS)
-Must have the ability to travel domestically and internationally.
-Excellent communication, listening skills, analytical, and detail-oriented.
-Advanced ITIL Training experience
