A client of Insight Global is the nation's largest provider of hospice (or end-of-life care) care in the United States, operating 49 hospice programs in the US. They're looking for a Development Trainer to join their team to assist while a team member is out on maternity leave. The role is responsible for creating career-enriching learning experiences in collaboration with the Workforce Development and Training team, leadership, and subject matter experts. This role will contribute to learners' success by fostering their growth and development through well-designed and impactful instructional programs to build capabilities in foundational, professional, and management skills for employees across the organization. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Use core instructional design principles and theories to maximize learning
* Design and development of engaging training materials for a variety of delivery methods, such as instructor-led, computer-based training modules and storyboards.
* Create and maintain instructional materials such as facilitator/participant guides, job aids, and other learning resources.
* Collaborates with subject matter experts (internal or external) in delivering appropriate, timely and quality educational opportunities related to orientation and ongoing education
* Establish and maintain formal and informal KPIs to track effectiveness of training programs and initiatives via qualitative and quantitative data.
* Conducts Needs Assessments to identify skills gaps and training needs

* 3+ years of experience working within instructional design
* Expertise in curriculum design and development
* In-depth understanding of instructional design models and learning theories
* Experience in visual design, storyboarding and script design
* Excellent computer skills including experience with computer-based training software and current e-learning tools such as MS Office, Articulate Storyline/Rise, Captivate, Vyond, Windows Media Player, and HTML principles
* Strong ability to manage, prioritize, and organize multiple tasks
* Strong written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills
* Ability to communicate effectively with peers, leaders, subject matter experts and working with diverse teams
