Job Description

Our client is looking for a Video Production Specialist to join their team! The Sports Digital and Social Media Marketing Specialist will be primarily responsible for the national sporting events that our client puts on. Additional responsibilities will include various tasks and projects to support marketing initiatives.



Responsibilities Include (But aren't limited to):



Developing and implementing creative content for sports properties



Manage year-round promotion and marketing of sporting events through all social and digital media channels



General support of marketing initiatives



On-site marketing and public relations management during the time of each annual event

Required Skills & Experience

MUST HAVES:



Experience in the field of sports management, marketing/communications, public relations on the intercollegiate and/or professional level

At least 3 years of hands-on experience producing digital content: website content, blog articles, eBooks, whitepapers, video and infographic content

Demonstrated success writing and structuring copy for digital platforms focused on user experience

Experience writing and distributing press releases using traditional and modern tools and techniques

1 year of experience in digital publishing using a CMS platform (Sitecore, Joomla, WordPress, Drupal, or Adobe)

Understanding and ability to maintain writing style and voice across all digital publishing platforms required

Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, Marketing or Sports Management

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Hootsuite Certifications and additional digital marketing certificates (huge +)

DSLR and ENG video experience
