This candidate will assist with preparation of Medicare and other third party cost reports, including supporting work papers and other documentation in compliance with federal and state law. Assist with preparation of Medicaid DSH / LIP cost limit reports and AHCA Milestone reports, including supporting documentation. Act as back-up for preparation of month-end contractual and reserve journal entries, including supporting data, work papers and analyses, and daily reconciliation of RCA files. Update and reconcile GL settlement accounts regularly. Assist with Medicare and Medicaid provider enrollment applications, revalidations and attestations as needed. Work on special projects and other reimbursement analyses as assigned.
Exp working with RCA (software tool to estimate receivables), HFS, and Easy Work Papers (software to estimate receivable and cost reporting software)
Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, Medicare OPPS reimbursement and third party billing rules and coverage determinations
Strong understanding of all Microsoft apps
Financial and information system analytics and data extraction experience
Strong interpersonal skills, team building skills, problem solving skills, and ability to multitask
