Job Description

Architect/Designer II will support the development of construction documents for a large-scale project. The Architect/Designer II will work under the guidance of senior architects and project leads to ensure the accurate and timely preparation of construction documents and specifications in accordance with project requirements and industry standards. The Architect/Designer II will implement LEED requirements into the design and support construction administration services during construction.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with project team to understand design concepts and technical requirements.
Prepare architectural plans, details, sections, and elevations.
Contribute to the development of construction specifications and material schedules.
Incorporate design changes and revisions into documents.
Conduct research on building materials and systems.
Review product data and assist in resolving technical issues.
Participate in document quality control processes.
Organize and maintain project files and documentation.
Incorporate LEED requirements into the design.
Manages the submittal and RFI response process.

Required Skills & Experience

- 6-8 years experience with commercial Architecture
- Must be able to work independently not needing a lot of guidance to execute detail construction document.
- Revit & BIM Collaborate Pro
- Experience collaborating with other consultants (electrical, mechanical..)
- LEED background experience needed.
- Bluebeam & AutoCAD
- Bachelors or masters degree in architecture is required
- Experience in construction heavy detailing
- Design commercial building experience is required.
- Must be able to pass a background check

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- ICD/ICS 705
- Photoshop experience
- Experience creating interior and exterior Renderings with V-Ray / Rhino using photo realistic renderings from photos
