The basic function of this position is to process complex mail and print jobs utilizing advanced functions of specialized equipment and software.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
· Scan in, sort and accurately distribute incoming mail and courier packages to all departments and regional offices.
· Collect, distribute and/or process interoffice items, outgoing mail, and outgoing courier packages from all departments.
· Process jobs requiring folding/inserting and or envelope printing. Verify all address information via CASS software program.
· Perform mail merge operations and print jobs for mass mailings, targeted campaigns, etc.
· Check all incoming Lawson PO orders for accuracy and ensure orders were shipped completely. Enter received quantities into the Lawson Enterprise Management System. Notate and escalate any discrepancies to department Supervisor or Manager.
· Deliver miscellaneous supplies such as stationary, office supplies, etc. to appropriate departments when requested.
· Order miscellaneous mailroom equipment supplies such as overnight materials, postage machine supplies, etc. as needed.
· Maintain database of authorized employees for ordering office supplies. Add or delete users as required.
· May serve as back-up for the Office Services Supervisor when needed.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
- 3 years of experience in mailroom operations or general office administration
- Intermediate Windows PC skills
- Microsoft Office- word and excel
- Mailpiece Quality Control (MCQ)- USPS
