A company located in Boca Raton, FL is looking for a Sales Representative to join their team. The sales reps will be selling 100% over the phone, and this role requires both inbound and outbound calling, but majority outbound. The sales agents are selling products within the financial/investment industry so an interest in finance/investing is helpful, but definitely not necessary. It is preferred that the candidate has a basic understanding of sales techniques -- cross selling, upselling, overcoming hesitations, etc. On a day to day, the agents will be calling on warm leads from customers that have already inquired about the product, no cold calling is required. The ideal candidate will need to have a strong backbone and ability to close a sale even when the customer is hesitant. Someone who is uncomfortable overcoming hesitations and rebuttals will not be successful in our client's enthusiastic, fast-paced work environment. The hours are Monday -- Friday 10-6 . This is a base plus commission role, with a very competitive incentive structure.
* 1+ years' experience in a demanding sales role (telesales, car sales, insurance phone sales, etc.)
* Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
* Must be coachable, take constructive criticism and apply it to sharpen closing skills
* Solid communication and interpersonal skills
* High School Degree or higher
