Job Description
The role of the Senior Technology Program Manager -- Workday & HCM Application Platform is to oversee enterprise-level programs and/or multiple projects within the enterprise technology portfolio. This is a senior program level role that takes charge of complex large-scale technology-driven projects across a diverse portfolio that supports all aspects of the line of business and its partners. The Senior Program Manager is also accountable for creating a consolidated view of the program, and for ensuring the quality of the program deliverables such as issue/risk management, cross-project dependencies, risk analysis, financials, stakeholder coordination, and regular communication of status. This individual will collaborate closely with various technical delivery owners to form the project team and assign responsibilities.
The Senior Technology Program Manager -- Workday & HCM Application Platform will: * apply project management methodology and execution practices for HCM Application Platform Projects types: continuous delivery of product enhancement, integration, modernization capabilities and functionality to drive business value and system efficiencies. * work together with technical delivery leaders, project managers, business teams to manage the end-to-end program * have demonstrated experience in leading Workday & HCM Application Platform projects from planning, requirements gathering, through execution and implementation -- time, cost, scope, quality.
Required Skills & Experience
* 10 years of technology program management experience managing application enhancement, integration, modernization projects that deliver capabilities and functionality to drive business value and system efficiencies.
* 8+ years experience working with Agile (SCRUM) methodologies and continuous integrations and delivery; with solid experience using agile delivery tools
* Technical Depth: Proven experience as a Project/Program leading application enhancement, integration, modernization projects that deliver capabilities and functionality to drive business value and system efficiencies. PM should have experience managing HCM related projects: projects and the ability to understand one or more of the following application development tools and techniques:
- Strong understanding of Human Capital Management platform environments: Workday, SAP/SuccessFactors, PeopleSoft, HR, Benefits, Learning, Recruitment
* Solid experience managing large technical projects requiring the engagement of functional team (i.e. business stakeholders, architecture & design teams, vendor partners, delivery lead, testing lead etc.)
* BS
* Previous migration/transformation from PeopleSoft to Workday
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
PMI or Scrum Alliance (or similar) certifications in Program Manager, Project Manager, or Scrum Master competencies are preferred
