Job Description

Job Summary:

Our client is looking for a Junior Analyst to join the Asset Management team. The analyst will be responsible for reviewing data and supporting mortgage documentation on pools of residential loans. This candidate will be comparing subsets of data and reconciling information against purchase. This role reports to the AVP/Manager of the department.



Responsibilities:

· Able to analyze large subsets of data and report back on findings

· Handle data reconciliation across multiple fields from multiple sources for new pool purchases

· Review diligence reports for new purchases and reconcile against originator data

· Track new boards/transfers and confirm that all the boarding information is accurate

· Communicate with servicers and make sure the process for oversight is being followed

· Review loan docs to confirm data points when mismatch is identified

· Perform other ad hoc projects as needed- able to be flexible and pivot to other roles when needed

· Knowledge of residential whole loans or familiar with industry terminology desired

Requirements

* Recent college grad or 2-3 years in a business-related organization required.

* Bachelor's degree required.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Strong analytical and organizational skills with close attention to detail required.

* Ability to set goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

* Strong Microsoft Excel skills; vlookup, pivot tables, charts, summarize, etc.
