Job Description

This marine engineer will assist with vessel repair and vessel management and report directly to a Marine Engineering Manager. They will assist with all aspects of vessel management including planning and performing repairs, participating in spare parts reviews, drafting vessel procedures and implementing approved policies, working with vessel crew mechanics and welders, and perform all other related duties as requested.



The schedule is Monday-Friday 7:15 am -4:30 onsite at the Port of Palm Beach. There is a high possibility of longer hours for extended periods of time. The role is a hybrid between in-office desk work and onboard vessel physical engineering duties. The position requires the engineer to travel periodically on the vessel to other ports outside of the US.

Required Skills & Experience

-Bachelor's degree in marine science or engineering equivalent

-Graduated from a Maritime Academy

-Valid Driver's License and Valid Passport

-Ability to perform physical work onboard vessels at sea

-Knowledge of vessel diesel and hydraulics

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

-Previous experience as an 1st , 2nd or 3rd Vessel Engineer

-Maritime certifications

-2-5 years of sailing experience
