Job Description

The Senior Business Analyst serves as the link between the business objectives and core technological capabilities the team is building and supporting. The goal of this role is to drive organized and effective requirements to build and deliver a product or function. The Senior Business Analyst seeks out, develops, and helps implement strategic initiatives for improved efficiency and productivity by understanding and developing requirements. Senior Business Analysts are responsible for utilizing creative and practical thinking to translate user needs and pain points into direct improvements. Collaborates with Analytic Business Partners, Engineers, Analysts, and other technical experts to shape the end-to-end product strategy and solution in support of business/product owner objectives and vision.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree or equivalent plus 5 or more years of professional experience in the business analysis discipline (project based)

Experience writing BRDs (Business requirement documents) and User Stories

Experience working on waterfall, Agile and/or hybrid projects (heavy scrum)

Experience utilizing Azure Boards

Experience working in a public cloud environment (Azure preferred)

Experience working in a fast past environment

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience working on AI related projects & initiatives

Working experience in an Insurance or Automotive related company
