Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an MDM Data Analyst for a large manufacturing client. This role will serve as the Master Data Management Analyst to support a data analytics team with a large ERP transformation. They will also be expected to lead requirements-gathering workshops and take detailed notes. They will gather detailed requirements for data provisioning and reporting requests (both business requirements and data requirements). They will work as a subject matter expert to understand the data and sources, document business and data requirements, and lead/perform organized testing to serve up quality data to meet the needs of the business. This role is responsible for designing a strategy for their MDM tool.

Required Skills & Experience

-3-5 years working in an enterprise Data & Analytics environment

-Expertise in the functional aspect of an MDM tool (preferably Informatica)

-Understands Data Lineage at a high level

-Ability to Gather Business Requirements then translate them into Data Requirements

-Ability to work with large amounts of detailed data and understanding of how data is structured

-Experience with Master Data Management -- match/merge, data harmonization/consolidation

-Understanding of Data Flows and Business Processes

-Excellent business acumen and interpersonal skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

-Informatica

-Experience with an ERP migration

-PowerBI

-Agile delivery experience

-SQL experience
