Job Description

- Provide assistance as needed to physicians

- Obtain vital signs

- Greet and escort patients during their visit

- Maintain medical documentation

- Schedule care, treatment and diagnostic tests per physician request

- Process prescription requests

- Process referral requests

- Discuss lab results with patients

- *No lab work, no phlebotomy -- Just EKG

Required Skills & Experience

- High school diploma/GED

- 2+ years patient care experience

- Experience in a physician's office/clinic

- Dependability, attendance

- Must be willing to provide documentation or obtain vaccinations included below:

o Hep B, Covid, TB, Varicella (Chicken Pox), Flu (seasonal), MMR vaccine

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- BLS (Basic Life Support) highly preferred

- CMA (Certified Medical Assistant), RMA (Registered MA), MA Diploma - highly preferred*

- EKG experience

- Previous Epic experience highly preferred

- Cardiology experience

- Secondary language

- Associate's degree or higher
