This position will administer facility Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Programs in accordance with OSHA, ANSI, EPA, local/state/federal regulatory
requirements and corporate policies, standards, procedures, and objectives. The role will report to the site operational lead (i.e. Plant Manager, Operations Director, etc.) with a "dotted-line" responsibility to the Corporate EHS representative. The EHS Manager will facilitate and promote proactive involvement within the facility(s) for all EHS initiatives and business activities to increase health and safety awareness, participation, and accountability. This role will provide day-to-day tactical support, in addition to the planning, development, administration and management of safety policies, programs and training for the organization, in partnership with the Leadership Team. The EHS Manager will be someone with a strong EHS educational background and EHS experience along with experience in leadership roles within a manufacturing or related industry.
