Job Description

Day to Day:

An Insight Global client is looking to add a Sprinkler Service Foreman Level 1 to their growing company. This Fire Sprinkler Foreman is responsible for the complete installation of fire sprinkler systems in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. They manage specific installation projects assigned to them by the Fire Sprinkler Manager. Foremen oversee the technicians, installation fitters, and assistants working at the site. They ensure the entire installation process is done flawlessly.



Essential Duties & Responsibilities:



* Fire sprinkler foremen use project drawings to interpret installation requirement details accurately and entirely.

* Delegate appropriate tasks to fitters, mechanics and assistants as needed to fulfill project completion deadlines, meet scheduling requirements, and exceed the goals established by the fire sprinkler manager.

* Install and test installation of fire suppression equipment in new or retrofit construction projects.

* Follow designed plans, communicates needed design change to fit actual site requirements.

* Be responsible for materials delivered to site and for minor fabrication on job site.

* In charge of updating daily installation progress notes onjobcontract drawings.

* Instruct and train helpers, apprentices, or other personnel in the basic process or service, repair, and/or system installation.

* Accurately complete and maintain all paperwork.

Required Skills & Experience

Must Haves:

- 7+ years of experience working within the Sprinkler Service Industry.

o Experience with Residential & Commercial services.

- Working knowledge of pipefitting, plumbing regulations, and fire protection codes.

- Ability to display knowledge of principles and practices of fire safety.

- Requires the ability to recognize and report deviations through inspection programs.

- Experience interpreting, applying, and explaining applicable laws, codes, and regulations.

- Must hold valid state driver's license with acceptable driving record.
