: An employer in the Orlando, FL area is looking for a remote Database Architect has both strategic and tactical responsibility for analysis, design, and development. As well as maintenance of the data assets and processes.
This includes both Logical and Physical Data Models as well as overall process flow and architecture for the Information Management environment. This will include conceptual and physical optimization of information.
This responsibility includes the identification of data most valuable to the corporation, the integration of this data, and the development of correlating data and process models. In addition, the Data Architect is responsible for recommending the optimal system-of-record for enterprise wide consumption.
Lead and collaborate on the creation of Data Development Processes, Procedures, and Standards to ensure data management consistency across the Enterprise
Design and document the technical logical and functional architecture and business usage of the data lifecycle, including design an requirements specifications
Identify re-engineering opportunities through research and analysis of business and system processes inefficiencies to ensure the company maintains a competitive advantage with information technology
Maintain and develop the data stores and other information management system data models and the subsequent physical data model(s)
Work with Database Administrators and Engineers to manage the physical data base implementation
