Job Description
The Data Governance Analyst will play a key role in the organizations Digital Transformation Initiatives. They will report into the Senior Manager of Data Governance and be responsible for the implementation of Data Governance Program activities. Key responsibilities include: coordination of issue , Intake , triage, tooling & platform configuration, stakeholder consultation, editing data related policies, and data steward engagement. In addition, they will participate in technical and analytical efforts related to a Data Quality Framework, which includes data quality assessment / profiling, data quality monitoring, issue resolution, design and implementation of KPIs/metrics/scorecards.
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience working within Azure ecosystem
- 5 years of experience working with enterprise data ( Databases, integrations, reports, files, analysis)
- Experience with Microsoft Purview or Alation or Collibra
- Experience with Data integration tools such as Informatica
- Experience running SQL Queries ; Oracle is okay too
- Experience with DataBricks
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Experience in documentation; technical specifications diagrams , knowledge and interest in MDM - They may do Master Data Management down the road
- Machine Learning and AI
- Experience in BI reporting, Dashboards, analytics
