Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Case Manager to work for an Insurance/Financial Services organization. Responsibilities Include:

* Act as the primary liaison with advisors and the insurance companies during the underwriting process

* Schedule medical examinations

* Order attending physicians' statements and inspection reports

* Review applications for accuracy/missing information and identify any medical impairments that would require review of medical records

* Follow up with carriers on a consistent basis for underwriting status

* Negotiate with carriers, as needed, to obtain best possible underwriting offer

* Update advisors on a consistent basis regarding the status of underwriting

* Review policies for accuracy and prepare policy delivery requirements

* Develop professional relationships with partner carriers and vendors

* Develop knowledge of carrier products

Required Skills & Experience

* 1+ years of brokerage case management experience

o Must have worked for the broker/advisor not just the carrier

o High volume, smaller cases/premiums

o Team of 6 -- 7 is currently managing 100 -- 140 cases at any given time

* Tech savvy individual

* Prior remote work history

* Highly organized, ability to multi-task, effective communication skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

* Use of an agency management software like Agency Integrator, One HQ, etc.

* File management with Paperclip or similar software
