Job Description

Insight Global is looking to hire a Senior Disaster Program Manager to support our largest Emergency Management clients on-site in Tallahassee, FL. This Senior Disaster Program Manager will provide critical advisory and complex problem-solving services to our recovery clients.

The Senior Disaster Program Manager will lead teams and leverage their extensive experience in disaster recovery programs and advise clients who are navigating complex government funding projects. We're seeking a polished professional with expertise in the FEMA PA Program to take initiative and act as a high-level project lead and/or manager.

In this position, the Senior Disaster Program Manager will:

* Heavily integrate with government clients to support their comprehensive recovery efforts across several multi-billion dollar, long-term and short-term disaster recovery projects simultaneously.

* Provide clients with FEMA PA policy subject matter expertise to guide them through administrative and policy challenges and help drive overall FEMA PA project strategy and client decision-making.

* Serve as a daily contact for client stakeholders.

* Create written deliverables and policy guidance, including complex FEMA PA eligibility guidance.

* Lead individual program teams or overall recovery client engagements from both an operational and administrative perspective.

Identify and implement process improvements opportunities to increase overall team and project productivity and efficiency.

Required Skills & Experience

* Bachelor's Degree

* A minimum of five (5) years of experience in the FEMA PA Program.

* A minimum of seven (7) years of total professional work experience.

* A strong policy background in the FEMA PA Program, including a comprehensive understanding of Title 2 of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Section 200, and post-obligation grant management activities and compliance requirements.

* Experience effectively working with and managing a team.

* Strong verbal communication skills, including the ability to present verbally to high level stakeholders.

* Outstanding written communication skills, including the ability to create nuanced/policy complex recommendation documents.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Masters Degree

- Knowledge of the Community Development Block Grant - Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) program or similar Disaster Recovery Programs
