Job Description

An employer in the Orlando area is looking to hire a Requirements and Capability Writer to support an Army program that integrates requirements and resources across the Army including schools, Major Commands and Department of the Army staffs. This person will be responsible for developing, coordinating and integrating army-wide training requirements related to modernization. He/she will be developing statements of the issues and required products and coordinating them with appropriate elements of AFC, TRADOC, HQDA and other CDIDs. They will be developing realistic milestones to produce the required products as well as identifying critical assumptions and limitations.

Required Skills & Experience

- Active Secret Clearance

- Knowledge of JCIDS and ACIDs (implementation of JCIDS)

- Experience with Military writing

- Ability to write Unified Architectural Framework (UAF) requirements, formally known as Department of Defense Architecture Frameworks (DODAF's).

- Expert knowledge in the Army processes (e.g. Total Army Analysis and Force Design Update) and all aspects of military, combat, combat support, and combat service support roles, operations, organizations, tactics, strategy, force structure, current and planned materiel capabilities, and their interrelationships in order to integrate Concepts and CAC force modernization proponent capability solutions across the Army.

- Expert knowledge of CRD relationships with other AFC, CAC, Army and Joint programs in order to exercise effective leadership in the completion of very difficult capability developments work and/or to individually accomplish the more complex capability developments assignments within the organization.

- Thorough knowledge of the art and science of mission command as well as the current and planned command and control battlefield automated systems at echelons above corps (EAC), corps, division and subordinate elements in order to successfully integrate C2 requirements and development across the Army, within the Joint community, and with Allied/Coalition forces.

- Knowledge of operational concepts, doctrine, and combat development in AFC and the subordinate schools and centers.

- Knowledge of the Joint and AFC Concept Integration and Development Plan and an understanding of its purpose and goals.
