Job Description
Our client is looking for a Senior Project Manager to join their team in Fort Lauderdale. The project they will be taking over will be for their digital marketplace and website. This person will be responsible for scheduling, handling risks, and making sure the project stays on schedule. They will also be responsible for managing budgets/getting funding, and once approved, making sure that they stay within budget or work with the team to get additional funding. They will be working with different groups in the organization such as Accounting, Tech, Business Operations, and Legal to assist them with coordination's and hitting milestones so communication is huge.
Some other responsibilities include:
Manage resource demand, budget, timelines, and escalate issues.
Monitor work progress and effectively manage key project milestones.
Manage and communicate risks and impact to scope, budget, and resources.
Reports project status, timely and effectively, using escalation, issue resolution and effective communication.
Understand the product and organizational impact by partnering with Stakeholders, Business Analysts and Product Owners.
Identify and manage Operational changes required based on project deliverables.
Required Skills & Experience
5 + years of experience as a Project Manager
Experience with Project Management Tools such as PPM Pro, MS Project, Visio, Jira, MS Office, SharePoint, etc.
Agile (scrum and/or Kanban) methodology.
Experience managing financials for the project.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
PPM Pro -- they use this internally.
