Job Description
Insight Global is looking for strong Network Engineers to join a team in Tampa Bay, FL. As a Network engineer, you will perform tier-three network support to support a large federal program. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and have in-depth knowledge of networking hardware and software. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the program, and the planning, modeling, simulation, design, installation, maintanence, management, and coordination of the network.
Typical duties include:
Engineering enterprise data, VPNs, and Mobility solutions within guidance
Implementing secure solutions utilizing vendor diverse products
Hands-on with multiple vendors including Cisco, Juniper, and Aruba
Providing high level support and expertise in networking technology including LAN/WAN hardware, routers, switches, firewalls, mobility controllers, and encryption devices
Working with vendors, the Government, carriers, and technical staff on network implementation, optimization, and ongoing management
Required Skills & Experience
· Active TS/SCI
· 5 years of experience in computer systems and network engineering
· Strong experience in areas such as network design and implementation, LAN/WAN interfacing, security, internet protocols, TCP/IP, as well as server and network infrastructure
· Strong knowledge of IPsec VPN technology
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
· Bachelor's degree in relative field
· Hands-on working experience with Cisco, Juniper SRX, and Aruba is preferred
