SQL DBA

Day to Day Responsibilities:

A client in the Miami, Fl area is looking for a SQL DBA to join their team. This individual is responsible for making sure that any database system that enters this company is performing and running stably. This person will need to have strong experience dealing with T-SQL coding and optimization, and performance tuning.

Must Haves:

* 3-7+ years of experience in SQL database administration

* Experience working in a 24/7 environment

* Strong knowledge of T-SQL for coding and proficiency in writing and optimizing complex queries

* Expertise in database loading procedures and troubleshooting issues related to database loading

* Ability to identify and resolve problems with indexes

* Experience with both on-prem and cloud outsourced hosting environments

* Familiarity with performance tuning and optimization techniques

* Proficient in using monitoring tools to track and analyze SQL task performance

* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work on critical production issues

* Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with the development team
