Medical Assistant (MA) - Intercoastal West

We are looking for a Medical Assistant for a client of ours in Jacksonville, Florida. This person will be responsible for back office tasks such as rooming patients and obtaining vitals.



Providing nursing assistant to physicians

Obtaining vital signs

Greeting and chaperoning patients during their visit

Maintaining medical documentation

Scheduling care, treatments and diagnostic tests per physician

Processing prescription requests and referrals

Phlebotomy experience

High School diploma/GED *must be able to verify

2+ years patient care experience

Experience in a physician's office

BLS (Basic Life Support)

Must be able to multitask

Must be willing to provide documentation or obtain vaccinations included below:

Hep B, Covid, TB, Varicella (Chicken Pox), Flu (seasonal), MMR vaccine

Previous Epic experience highly preferred

CMA (Certified Medical Assistant), RMA (Registered MA) or MA Diploma highly preferred

Associate's degree
