A behavioral healthcare client in Bradenton, FL is looking for six local Behavioral health techs to join their team. This resource will be working at the hospital in Bradenton. They will need to have basic knowledge of human behavioral or general mental health concepts, good communication, and basic computer skills (email, word processing, internet, data entry, etc.).
Essential Functions/Job Duties
1. Assists nursing with admission process. Obtains Vital Signs, Urine Drug screens.
2. Complete Inventory of personal belongings.
3. Assess clients' safety and welfare; assist with education and program activities.
4. Provides assistance and supervision to clients in their activities of daily living.
5. Assists in providing for and supervising clients' special nutritional needs.
6. Provides social interaction opportunities for clients.
7. Mediates client confrontations and assists in engaging clients in therapeutic behaviors.
8. Basic computer skills -- Data Entry, Microsoft Office, Outlook.
The practices and techniques of drug abuse prevention, treatment, or rehabilitation.
CPR certified
