The Application Security Manager leads a team of Application Security Engineers that are responsible for the deployment, configuration, and management of tools to secure web and mobile applications.
The App Sec team analyzes software designs and implementations from a security perspective. The team supports application security tools, including those for static application security testing (SAST) and dynamic application security testing (DAST). The team works with developers to ensure these tools are successfully integrated into their DevOps pipelines and practices, and support developers in the identification and resolution of security issues that these tools identify.
* 8+ years of information technology experience, including
* 4+ years of specialization in application security.
* Management experience preferred.
* DAST, SAST (Ex. Accunetyx, Snyk HP Fortify, CheckMarx) consuming as a developer and running. Worked to secure other peoples code (finding vulnerabilities, fixing bugs, devops or devsecops, AppSec)
* Strong knowledge of relevant Security Standards (OWASP, etc.) and how to apply them to the software development lifecycle in a large agile environment.
* Knows how to work with developers to secure code
* Candidate must be collaborative, highly organized, creative, and effective communicator (both written and verbal).
* Ability to work on multiple projects, balancing a mix of resources, due dates and requirements.
