Job Description

A team in Tampa is looking to bring on a group of Jr. IT professionals who will undergo a training in order to become strong contributors to a global IT team as Software Testers. They will receive detailed training in the following areas and could support a wide variety of projects. This work will begin as fully remote, but could potentially go to 1 day a week on site in Tampa, so candidates must be local.



This role works with client facing applications in collaboration with client service staff and involves recommendations for application optimization. Candidates will gain knowledge with the SDLC activities in order to develop custom developed and packaged applications with exposure to all types of testing (Unit, System, Integration, Performance, Security, etc.) . This is an Agile development, and candidates will work with Team Foundation Server, including entering User Stories, Bugs, Enhancements, Burndown, and working with offshore resources. Candidates will gain strong test management skills and a thorough understanding of testing and analysis deliverables (including UML artifacts and how they relate to the development process).

Candidates will also gain experience using modern testing tools (ex. Quality Center, Load Runner, etc.).

Candidates will also be responsible for translating technical data and concepts into actionable testing approaches.

Bachelors degree in IT related field or accounting
