Insight Global is looking for a Sr. DBA in the Melbourne, Florida area. In this role, you will be working heavily with the System Admin and Security Engineering teams. You will need to have extensive hands-on experience with Postgres and Maria DB. You will be working within Windows and Linux operating systems. You will be involved in the installation of database software, administration, configuration, back-up recovery, and patching/upgrades process. This position requires you to work on call for a week each month and is fully on site. You will need the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.
6+ years of experience working within Postgres and Maria DB
Experience working within a Linux and/or Windows operating system
Hands on experience as a DBA in a non-cloud environment
Bachelor's Degree
Comfortable working on call for a week on a monthly basis
Ability to obtain a Public Trust
