Insight Global is looking for a REMOTE Accountant to join their team! The Accountant is responsible for payroll-related accounting and analysis in an accurate, consistent and timely (ACT) manner and must be able to communicate effectively with team members in the Payroll department, Human Resources department, Accounting department, and Store Operations. Key tasks include Creating reconciliations and journal entries for benefits (health insurance, life insurance, worker's compensation, etc.); Maintaining reconciliations for payroll-related balance sheet accounts (advances, draws, payroll accruals, insurance reserves, commission/spiff/sales goals payables, stock options, 401K payable, etc.); Creating and posting daily journal entries; Compiling weekly commission, spiff and monthly sales goal bonus submissions; Supporting year-end tax reconciliations and reporting requirements; and other duties as assigned.
-Bachelor's Degree (Preferably in Accounting. Finance, Business Administration or related are also acceptable).
- Strong Excel skills- Pivot Tables, V-Lookups, etc.
-Strong attention to detail.
-Coachable and eager to learn and grow in a company long-term.
-Experience with G2 and/or IDS accounting software.
