Our Fortune 500 Client in South Florida is looking to bring on a FULLY REMOTE IT Infrastructure Project Manager to help with migrating and updating an operating system software to another version (Windows/Unix). The project will involve changing the servers virtually which will involve reinstalling apps that are moved to new hardware. This will include a database upgrade of Oracle that will be implemented across the company brands. The ideal candidate will help the Program Manager manage the program to help expedite the process and coordinate migrations. Migration and upgrades will be done remotely but must be able to travel as needed for possible shipboard deployments.
5 years of experience coordinating migrations and implementations of Windows and Unix operating systems
Experience with Oracle and MS SQL databases for upgrades and installations
Experience working on projects involved with storage/backups using Dell Compellent, EMC VNX/Unity/Vmax, or Veritas Netbackup
Experience working with shipboard deployments
