Job Description
An employer in the Titusville, FL market is looking for an Electrical Engineer to join their team. The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for hands-on troubleshooting, maintenance and testing of electrical systems, as well as generating work instructions for technicians to follow. 50% of the job will be spent in the field troubleshooting and 50% of the time will be in the office creating the work instructions. The position may require physical labor duties like standing, stooping, lifting, climbing, operating man lifts, etc. Significant on the job training will be provided. This person will work closely with the Electrical Design team and QA teams to approve work.
Required Skills & Experience
* Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology or similar
* Hands on experience with maintenance, operations, repair, troubleshooting and testing of electrical systems, i.e. electrical circuits, digital, power, controls, etc.
* Experience generating work instructions for technicians
* Experience with electrical test equipment, i.e. multimeters, voltage detectors, oscilloscopes, scopes, power supplies, handheld meters, etc.
* Ability to perform physical labor duties like standing, stooping, lifting, climbing, etc.
* Good communication skills
* Ability to work off-shifts and/or weekends as necessary
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
* Experience with PLC-based ground systems equipment, i.e. Allen Bradley
* Aerospace or DoD experience
* Controls experience with sensors, position indicators, etc.
* Software experience
