Job Description

Insight Global is searching for a self-motivated and tech savvy learners who are interested in pursuing a long-term role in our client's EHR (Electronic Health Record) systems support team. The traditional day will consist of answering inbound calls from end-users (clinicians and doctors) relevant to supporting this EHR product, as well as supporting various ancillary applications which work alongside it via a ticketing system. Applicants should expect to work 8:00am-5:00pm shifts, as well as one to two 11am -- 8pm shift / week, no weekends. If selected, there will be a minimum 5-6 week training process on the proprietary EHR system.



Supporting clinicians and doctors



Must be able to multi-task -- using multiple screens, working through queue



Most common issues in the queue: password resets, duplicate patient accounts need to be merged, appointments that need to be adjusted (moving medical records), forms missing, form functionality, e-scribe issues, medication lists not populating, reports not displaying correctly, system defects



Footprints and Jira used for ticketing system



Partner with development team for escalations

Required Skills & Experience

Enthusiastic personality, self-motivated attitude, quick learner



EHR (Electronic Health Record)/EMR (electronic medical records)/healthcare experience - Understanding of various forms used and functionality



High School Diploma minimum



Customer service/support experience via phone

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience working with medical records, (ex. Medical terminology class, or an ex-tech in a medical setting)



Highly prefer service desk internship/previous work experience



Call center experience



IT experience background -- must be "tech-savvy" -- ideally previous service desk/application support experience
