Job Description

- Working within Epic

- Working through a behavioral health specific coding queue -- volume has significantly increased in this area

- Queue is broken down into 3 categories -- team rotates through inpatient, neuro/psych testing, everything else (including outpatient)

- Will be coding for the doctors when they round in the hospitals -- OBGYN, Skilled Nursing, Primary Care, etc.

Required Skills & Experience

- Active professional coding certification -- CPC, CCS

- Behavioral Health coding experience

- Experience in high volume environment (15/hr is standard on this team)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- In-patient behavioral health coding experience

- Epic experience high preferred

- Hospitalist coding
