Job Description

This Analyst role is responsible for enhancing the Global Private Equity Investment Platform to support ongoing projects. The candidate will gather business requirements, perform data and technical analysis, write documentation, help create test cases and work directly with our business partners and development team in delivering a strategic solution. The individual will work closely with Fund Management, Deal Teams, and the ESG team. The candidate will also be responsible for driving continuous process and data improvements. They will work closely with multiple business and technology teams to identify process inefficiencies and data quality issues, recommend, and decide on best actions for improvement, and execute on said actions. They will be a team lead within their internal GTS team to ensure project completion, timeliness, and accuracy.



The individual will be responsible for:

* Serve as a Business Analyst on the CPE Reporting Team.

* Working with ESG and Data Collection team to meet their data needs and build out reporting for both internal and external stakeholders.

* Understanding complex Carlyle investment processes

* Identifying and strengthening golden source systems data flows

* Working with multiple business teams to gather and document requirements

* Working with our quality assurance team to create test cases

* Validating new capabilities in preparation of user acceptance testing and helping to resolve potential issues discovered during the QA and UAT testing cycles.

* Providing direct support to Deal Teams and Fund Management to ensure complete and accurate portfolio data capture on a continuous basis.

Required Skills & Experience

* Outstanding analytical and problem solving skills.

* Working experience and understanding of the private equity business and LP reporting needs.

* Strong interpersonal skills (written and oral) and ability to work across multiple teams.

* Strong organization skills: detail-oriented, efficient and diligent.

* Understanding of Agile methodologies and best practices.

* Ability to understand and articulate business needs (from various sources) and verbally communicate to those with and without a technology background.

* Dedicated to exemplary customer service.

* Familiarity with project management concepts.

* Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment and balance multiple tasks.

* High integrity and must be able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive and proprietary information.

* Bachelor's Degree with an emphasis on Accounting, Finance or information systems/technology.

* Knowledge of reporting tools specifically PowerBI

* Experience with database systems and ETL processes

* Able to perform tasks with a high level of attention to details

* Experience working among diverse teams
