Overview: Insight Global is seeking a Cerner Community Works Project Manager to support a hospital‑wide EHR implementation. This role will provide end‑to‑end project oversight and PMO support, delivering executive‑level governance, stakeholder coordination, and hands‑on project management throughout the implementation. The Project Manager will work closely with client executives and implementation partners to maintain alignment, mitigate risk, and drive measurable outcomes across the full project lifecycle.
This is a hands‑on healthcare IT implementation role with significant executive visibility and direct responsibility for go‑live readiness and success.
Responsibilities:
• Provide executive‑level oversight, governance support, and strategic coordination through client leadership
• Support Executive Steering Committee activities, including risk escalation, mitigation strategies, and implementation recommendations
• Monitor program‑level risks, dependencies, scope, timeline, and budget impacts
• Provide PMO support by reviewing the integrated project schedule, tracking overdue tasks, and coordinating updates
• Prepare weekly and monthly status reports, including executive‑level materials and dashboards
• Maintain risk & issue logs, alignment trackers, and milestone dashboards
• Lead stakeholder engagement and communication planning across clinical, operational, and IT domains
• Coordinate with client stakeholders to gather updates, validate progress, and support readiness activities
• Facilitate cross‑functional collaboration to ensure timely delivery of project artifacts
• Support end‑user readiness and go‑live activities, including training adoption, command center support, and real‑time issue resolution
• Assist with hypercare and post‑go‑live transition planning
• Lead project closeout and improvement planning, including final documentation, post‑live support roadmap, and ongoing improvement roadmap

• Weekly Executive Summary Reports (high‑level status, risks, priorities, stakeholder updates)
• Risk & Issue Logs (initial + monthly updates)
• Stakeholder Communication Plan (draft, final, ongoing updates)
• Executive Steering Committee Materials (monthly decks, dashboards, recommendations)
• End‑User Readiness Dashboards (training, adoption, operational readiness)
• Improvement Roadmap (post‑go‑live enhancements and workflow refinement)
• Project Closeout Package (final documentation, post‑live roadmap, improvements)
Must‑Haves:
• Proven healthcare IT project management experience
• Experience supporting EHR implementations, preferably Cerner Community Works
• Strong executive‑level communication and governance support experience
• Hands‑on PMO execution (schedules, reporting, risk management, dashboards)
• Experience supporting go‑live, hypercare, and post‑implementation activities
