Pay Rate

$26 - $32 (hourly estimate)

Job Description

Provide AV and installation troubleshooting support for SEC
Support a current FTE based in DC
Assist with AV installs and support across SEC regional offices
Travel to regional offices when installation or hands-on support is required, then return to DC
Support SEC operations in a manner similar to a government internal team (not break/fix travel)

Compensation:

$25/hr to $30/hr.


Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience

Must Haves:

Education: Bachelors
Substitution for a Bachelors:
Associates Degree + 2 years additional experience; or
HS Diploma + 4 years additional experience; or
HS Diploma + Professional or Industry Standard Technical Certification in a relevant field
2 years of experience performing similar AV installation and support work
Hands-on troubleshooting of AV and installation-related issues
Ability to take direction and work as part of a team
Willingness to travel occasionally (not constant)
Eligible for and able to obtain Public Trust clearance - must have before start

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Crestron, AMX, Cisco, or Poly (formerly Polycom)
Familiarity with Cisco room systems
Prior government or SEC-style environment experience
AV certifications (preferred, not required)
