Job Description
This position is willing to pay between $145,000-$170,000 depending on experience and qualifications,
The position also requires at least a Secret Clearance with the ability to be processed for a Top Secret.
• Support effective communication, planning, development, and execution for a variety of activities including systems integration, system accuracy, system reliability, support equipment design, and systems safety.
• Assess and advise on multiple design concepts, proposed changes to the solution designs, and overall progress in the development effort phases in relation to overall program risk, cost, and schedule constraints.
• Providing expert advice to the Government and other task stakeholders in the areas of relating vision, strategy, plans, needs, requirements, and process and capability developments.
• Able to lead, manage, and execute the development of systems engineering documentation, such as the Systems Engineering Plan, Initial Capabilities Documents, Requirements Specification, and Interface Control Documents and ensure that processes and specifications meet system needs and are accurate, comprehensive, and complete.
• Providing technical recommendations for the development, engineering, interfacing, integration, and testing to include requirements elicitation, analysis, and functional allocation, conducting system requirements reviews, developing concepts of operations and interface standard, developing system architectures, and performing technical/non-technical assessments and management as well as end-to-end flow analysis.
• Recommend solutions to resolve technical challenges that can occur due to dynamic changes in characteristics, approach, criteria, and requirements.

Required Skills & Experience
• Active DoD Secret or Top-Secret clearance.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in one or more of the following: aerospace/defense systems engineering, missile systems, or Navy submarine programs.
• Familiarity with INCOSE’s System Engineering Lifecycle Readiness construct.
• Demonstrated experience conducting detailed and complex systems engineering throughout the systems life cycles phases: concept, development, production, utilization, support, and retirement
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Prior experience as a systems engineer and/or program manager in a medium or large-scale program.
• Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, Cameo Systems Modeler.
• Able to effectively communicate and exchange information with peers and senior personnel; good oral and written communication skills.
