Job Description
One of Insight Global's clients is looking to hire for a temporary Building Engineer to assist with daily operations at a 400,000 square foot commercial office building in NW DC. This individual will be working a Monday-Friday shift, 9:30AM - 6PM with occasional weekend work. There is some ongoing construction at the building so this individual will be responsible for daily PMs, site walkthroughs with contractors, communicating with tenants and managing all fire/life safety/emergency backup equipment. This will be a 2 to 3 month assignment with no guarantee of conversion after that time frame.

Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of experience in facilities engineering; commercial preferred
- Universal CFC
- Knowledge of commercial plumbing and electrical, as well as water treatment
- Strong communication skills; written and verbal
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Knowledge of BAS systems
- Experience working on construction sites with general contractors
- Reviewing construction drawings
