Insight Global is looking for a Bariatric Coordinator (RN) to support a healthcare system in Washington, DC. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Bariatric Surgery Coordinator to support the Nurse Manager in leading and managing the inpatient Bariatric Surgery Program. This role combines clinical expertise with strategic program development to ensure high-quality, coordinated care for patients undergoing weight loss surgery.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Nurse Manager to oversee the operational and leadership functions of the Bariatric Surgery inpatient unit.
Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Bariatric Surgery Program, ensuring alignment with best practices and patient-centered care.
Promote clinical excellence by enhancing staff proficiency in the care of bariatric surgical patients through education, training, and mentorship.
Design and implement interdisciplinary care strategies to support seamless, coordinated treatment plans for bariatric patients.
Provide direct patient care and serve as a clinical resource, ensuring optimal outcomes and a positive patient experience.
