Insight Global is seeking detail-oriented Construction Inspectors who will oversee various aspects of construction projects, ensuring compliance with all applicable codes, standards, and specifications. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a commitment to quality, and a deep understanding of construction practices. Supporting Architect of the Capitol, this position offers the unique opportunity to work on some the most historic and iconic buildings in the nation.
Day-to-Day:
Multi-trade complex building construction and renovation inspector, responsible for scheduling, coordinating, performing general field inspection for all disciplines. Inspects work at the site(s) for contract and code compliance, proficient with construction management software like E-Builder.
Recommend approvals or rejections of materials and workmanship as appropriate; monitor labor and safety requirements; complete written inspection reports, records of defects; and omissions; and similar activities.
Conduct well-defined and sometimes complex inspections of construction activities.
Monitor quality control procedures to ensure adherence to project specifications and industry standards.
Document nonconformance issues and participate in discussions to determine appropriate resolutions.
Verify that all installations by the general contractor meet required standards.
Ensure that construction activities comply with statutory and customer regulations.
Participate in the development of quality control reports and procedures.
Prepare and maintain comprehensive inspection reports, documenting findings and corrective actions.
Participate in the development and implementation of job safety practices.
Prepare safety reports and ensure that safety protocols are strictly followed on the job site.
Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure professional workmanship and project success.
Provide general inspection on all construction labor and subcontracted tasks.
Verify the alignment and balancing operations of construction equipment.

o Experience scheduling, coordinating, performing general field inspection.
Associates in Construction Related Field, Trade School or equivalent certification. (Waived for 10 years of experience).
