Job Description

An employer is looking for a Tier II Heldesk person in the DC area. They will be managing a ticket que and troubleshooting technical issues. Provide Tier II support from the Tier I desk, remotely or onsite for hardware and software issues. Install, monitor, troubleshoot, support, the VDI, VTCs, VOIP, scanners, thin clients, Active Directory, and other software platforms. Provide documentation for work orders and incidents. Monitor and escalate as needed.

Required Skills & Experience

- Able to obtain a Top Secret clearance
- Bachelors degree (IT, Computer Science, or related) (can replace 4 years of experience with a degree)
- 4+ years of experience as a helpdesk or desktop role
- Able to obtain an A+ certification and MCP/MD-100 or Google IT support certification within 6 months of first day

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Active security clearance
- IT certifications: Security+, Network+, A+, etc. or AMPM certification
