One of our federal clients is looking for a Cloud Engineer to join their team in DC. This person will be joining a team in a hybrid environment (2 days onsite) that is responsible for the department wide cloud infrastructure. They will provide technical, managerial, and administrative direction for problem definition, analysis, requirements development and implementation for complex to extremely complex systems within cloud infrastructure. They will also help with troubleshooting cloud performance issues, analyze network traffic, and provide capacity planning solutions.
- Clearable US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Public Trust
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field
- 12+ years of experience in information technology WITH 8+ years of hands on experience deploying/configuring workloads within AWS or Azure
- Experience designing and implementing cloud architectures
- Strong knowledge of enterprise computing and operating systems such as Linux and Windows
- Experience documenting requirements, user stories, and use cases
