An employer in downtown Washington DC is looking to hire a Data Governance Consultant to help support their client's data sharing program. Responsibilities include:
- Review the customers current data and analytics capabilities, policies, processes and standards to identify strengths and areas for improvement
- Provide areas for improvement and provide recommendations for the current and future architecture to support data and analytical needs to work towards the design and implementation of an enterprise-ide Data Governance and Accreditation Program
- Facilitate workshops with technical and non-technical stakeholders to identify data challenges
- Briefing materials for data modernization projects to enable Enterprise Technology Governance , including Technology Evaluation Council (TEC), Finance and Legal Evaluation Council (FLEC), and Technology Resource Board (TRB).
- Training and strategic communication materials to enhance the client's data literacy and raise awareness of data governance best practices and policies.
