AutoCAD Operator

Overview

Insight Global is looking for a Cad engineer that will report to a Lead Civil engineer to produce project drawings primarily on water resources projects for public and private clients. This person should be able to resolve technical problems relating to CAD ranging in complexity.



Day to Day

* Create, modify and update design drawings

* Maintain electronic project files as required by company, project or client requirements

* Assist in the design and production of engineering reports, construction documents, cost estimates, and specifications for the delivery of projects.

* Communicate and interact with project team members, client representatives, review agencies, and others as appropriate to the project.

* Knowledge of standard office practices and procedures.

* Ability to demonstrate strong attention to detail.

* Ability to demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills.

* Ability to build and maintain excellent interpersonal relationships.

Ability to work independently on multiple tasks without immediate and constant supervision.

Must Haves

* Minimum 3 years' experience as CAD Operator, engineer, or related role

* Minimum 2 years' (proficient level) experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D Software's

You will be using cad to make tunnels, waterways, wastewater lines etc.

* Experience utilizing AutoCAD for infrastructure projects (tunnels, water, roads, etc)





Pluses

* Revit 365 or BIM experience
