* Our client, a Federal Contractor specializing in Management Consulting and Engineering Support is looking to bring on a Program Manager to their team. This person will be responsible for supporting a federal helpdesk and IT service desk program and responsible for managing the staff and competition of program objectives. Additional responsibility listed below:
o Responsible for overseeing delivery of task orders: Service Center Operations Support, IT Operations and Management, Configuration/ Change and Release Management, Data Architecture and Database Management, Audio Visual Support Services, Website Support Services
o Planning the entire program across scope, schedule, resources, risk, quality, etc., and monitoring the on-going execution of these areas;
o PMP implementation duties, to include, at a minimum:
Communications Plan generation and management;
Risk management and mitigation strategies;
Work Breakdown Structure management and maintenance;
Maintaining a positive work environment where ingenuity and resourcefulness foster and team spirit can develop;
Coordinating and collaborating operational activities with all IT teams (e.g., Engineering, Tailored Platforms, Security, etc.); and
