Insight Global is seeking an Enterprise Asset Manager to support a newly awarded 7-year contract managing a small team of 8, working 100% Remotely. Responsibilities include:
Perform daily and long-term operational and strategic management of hardware and software inventories as defined by the Asset & Configuration Management process.
Plan, monitor, and record hardware assets and/or software license to make sure they comply with vendor contracts in different software tools as well as federal requirements & regulations.
Apply a continuous improvement approach in enhancing the strategies employed in technology spending, as well as in tracking company assets throughout their lifecycle.
Ensure effective usage of the CMDB and that the content contained is accurate
Provide guidelines and oversight to staff of inventory and procurement analysts
Provide KPI/Metric information and standardized reporting on a scheduled basis together with unscheduled reporting requested by customers and/or program management
Lead and mentor a small team of asset analysts and supervise their performance
Develop and design an Asset Management framework for the Enterprise.
Review, enhance documentation, develop governance, and provide input/guidance to realizing efficiencies in the management and lifecycle of assets
