Job Description
A client of Insight Global is seeking a Hardware Asset Management Analyst to join their team in Wilmington, DE. This role is responsible for managing hardware procurement and asset requests end to end, maintaining accurate inventory records, and tracking the full lifecycle of IT hardware assets. The analyst will partner closely with Infrastructure and End User Services teams, communicate timelines and status updates to stakeholders, support reporting needs, and help ensure asset data integrity while looking for opportunities to improve processes and hardware utilization.

Required Skills & Experience
• 3+ years of experience in Hardware Asset Management or IT Asset Management
• Hands on experience managing the full hardware asset lifecycle (procurement through disposal)
• Experience working in ITSM / asset management tools (ServiceNow or similar)
• Experience coordinating hardware disposal and retirement in line with policy
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and inventory controls
• Clear communication skills for working with technical teams, vendors, and end users
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience supporting both on site and remote end user environments
• Exposure to inventory optimization, refresh planning, or vendor performance tracking
• Ability to identify and recommend process improvements or efficiencies
• Prior experience supporting leadership or ad hoc reporting requests
