Job Description
A large semiconductor manufacturing company is seeking a Data Engineer to join their team for a large ongoing digital transformation project. This person will be responsible for designing, building and maintaining cloud native data pipelines on Azure to support analytics and GenAI workloads. They will develop data ingestion, transformation and curation of pipelines using Python, Databricks (PySpark) and ADF. They will build and maintain RESTful APIs using FastAPI for data access, feature retrieval and downstream AI/ML consumption. They will be collaborating with Data Scientists, GenAI Engineers, Analysts and application teams to understand the data and ensure data quality, observability, reliability and security. This is a remote opportunity in India working IST hours.

- Python experience for data engineering and backend development
- API building using FastAPI
- Azure AI Search for building scalable search and retrieval solutions
- Strong SQL expertise
- Bachelor's degree
